‘Only a matter of time’: Berkeley Lab simulates quakes to prepare for worst

An experimental model co-created with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory will allow researchers to simulate and replicate earthquakes in a laboratory setting with the goal of expanding knowledge and advancing earthquake safety for large structures.
